Wow, where do I start? I just finished your survey regarding how our experience went and unfortunately the max rating available was only 5; I'm going to need a 10+ star rating for our experience! :) Our journey was a complicated one involving offers that we made on three different properties. Every time we found a place we liked and made an offer, something didn’t pan out for us in the process and we 'lost' out. (We did ultimately succeed on the third home – and we love it) I am no loan officer, but I cannot imagine that it’s easy; but Desi helped us with THREE separate home offers. We had TONS of questions and what an absolute champ she was in working with us, she was: 1. PATIENT - Super patient – we had a crazy amount of questions 2. THOROUGH - Incredibly clear and transparent - Desi took the time to explain items in a manner which made them easy for us to understand 3. AVAILABLE - Desi fielded questions from us day and night including weekends and after hours 4. PROFESSIONAL – without question she is absolutely professional, she NEVER made us feel inept over what we considered stupid questions about items we just didn’t understand 5. COMPASIONATE – she was totally supportive and never expressed irritation or frustration when we lost out on a home offer and went back to the drawing board so to speak to find another property 6. DEDICATED – She went above and beyond in assisting us with obtaining flood insurance for the home we ultimately were able to purchase; saving us big $$$ over the quote that we got from our own insurance agency 7. ETHICAL - Desi had our back through this entire process; and in fact, when something occurred during the process with the first offer we put in (from the sellers side – not ours) Desi immediately notified us and our realtor so we could address it 8. AWESOME - All in all we felt like we were working with a friend, and that is the best part of working with Desi - she becomes your friend and advocate and is genuinely happy to help and enjoys seeing you get into the home of your dreams Thank you so much Desi Goodwin and Highlands Residential Mortgage; we appreciate you for all you did for us and how seamless you made the process for us.
